Property Description

Trail Creek Meadows Ranch is located in the heart of the Boise Basin.  The beautiful property lies east of the Harris Creek summit.  This ranch is 3± miles south of the historic mining town Placerville, and fifteen miles south of Garden Valley. This ranch is easily accessible from Boise through Horseshoe Bend via Harris Creek Road, or Highway 21 and Idaho City.

Trail Creek Meadows Acreage

This beautiful ranch consists of 1,100± deeded acres of pristine mountain meadows, Douglas fir, and ponderosa pine forests. Nestled in Boise Basin, the ranch is defined by mountainous timberland to the west and the meadows surrounding Trail Creek and Peterson Creek as they flow east.  The creeks converge with Clear Creek and Granite Creek east of the ranch. The ranch is 2.5± miles wide from east to west, and 1.25± miles long from north to south. Additionally, Harris Creek Road, which is maintained by Boise County, bisects the ranch with about 375± acres to the north and 735± acres to the south.

The topography of Trail Creek Meadows Ranch is varied with mostly level meadows blending into the hills east of Harris Creek Summit. Also, the elevation ranges from a low point of about 4,200± feet at the bed of Trail Creek and rises to nearly 4,900± feet on the mountain ridge above timber-laden Huckleberry Flat. With multiple year-round creeks traversing the property, wildlife is very abundant including deer, elk, Mountain Lion, and many species of birds. The ranch has incredible scenery, and several vantage points offer scenic views of Steel Mountain to the east. Additionally, there is also the potential to install an airplane landing strip.

Irrigation

Trail Creek Meadows Ranch boasts 260± acres of exclusive water rights in three separate decrees.
