St. Joe River Timberland

Location

Located off of Kelly Creek Road which is also Forest Service Road #217. Near the unincorporated community of Avery, Idaho. Approximately 2 hours from Couer d’Alene and 1 hour from Saint Maries. Established in 1861, Shoshone County is on the eastern side of Idaho’s North Panhandle region and spans 2636 square miles. The county seat is in Wallace and the timber and mining industries have been  mainstays of the economy along with recreation and tourism.  The county’s seven incorporated cities are stretched along the Interstate-90 corridor, also known as the Silver Valley, stretches from Pinehurst to the Montana border.

Acreage

This 122+ acres of arduously forested property includes approximately 400± of Saint Joe River frontage. Forest Service Road 217, also known as Kelly Creek Road, runs through and between the two parcels being offered. Providing great access to endless acres of the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, which surrounds the neighboring lands. The acreage has mature harvest-able timber. The terrain is steep with timber and brush sloping down two drainages that flow to the river.  Additionally, the acreage is in the Idaho Fish & Game Hunt Unit 7 and is part of the groomed trail system in the winter.
