Pioneerville Timber Acres

Location

North of the original mining area townsites of Pioneerville and Centerville, this property lays among the timbered mountain tops. Mostly surrounded by Boise National Forest and accessed from Idaho City or Garden Valley. Which are also the closest towns with essential services. In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s the area was booming with mining and many, along with this land, patented mining claims were established. Even though this land didn’t turn out to be where they struck any large veins, the potential is still there. Pioneerville and Centerville populations were at their highest in the 1860’s, with each reaching 3,000 people. After gold and silver mining busted, the people departed the area leaving only a few old buildings.

Mountainous terrain, timber, a spring and both perennial and seasonal creeks are found on this 39.41± acres. The views are of thousands of wilderness mountains acres. Forest Service Road 382C is the main road, however is not maintained in winter months. Several old logging roads can be found on and around the property.  Furthermore, the Independence and Saturn Lode patented mine claims are deeded and go with the sale.
